Hi, I’m Max, and I’m a Performance Coach here at Peak Performance Training – Maryville. I work with both athletes and adults to help them move better, build real strength, and develop the speed, agility, and power needed to succeed in sport and in life. My coaching style is supportive, realistic, and driven by the belief that great coaches lead by example. I push athletes to reach beyond their goals while setting clear, attainable expectations that keep them progressing with confidence.
I’m an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and hold a B.S. in Exercise Science with a minor in Human Nutrition. I grew up as a varsity baseball player and earned a Division III offer from North Central College. Before joining Peak, I coached at SP Training in Houston, Texas, where I worked hands-on with athletes across multiple sports.
I specialize in athlete development - particularly speed, agility, strength, and baseball performance. My “why” is rooted in wanting to help athletes chase the same dreams I once had and to help people push past their own limits to build a life they’re proud of.
Outside of the gym, I enjoy hiking, photography, and spending time with friends. One thing I want every athlete and adult to know is this: progress is progress. You only need to be 1% better than you were yesterday
