‍

THE INTRO CALL

The purpose of our 15 min Intro Call is to determine three things: where you’re starting from (current health and fitness background), where you want to go, and any limitations or restrictions we need to program around.

‍

We view goals as an important part of a fitness journey. It allows us to work towards something and gives us a benchmark when things fall off.

‍

On the call, we’ll walk through our adult small group personal training program and share what other members have achieved in their time with Peak Performance Training - Maryville.

‍

THE FREE TRIAL SESSION

After the Intro Call, interested members come in for a free trial session - a chance to experience how we train, how we coach, and what the environment actually feels like. No pressure. We want it to be a good fit, for you and for us.

‍

WHAT A SESSION LOOKS LIKE

Every session follows the same structure. We start with a warm up then a power block - core stabilization and explosive movements like medicine ball throws - which primes the central nervous system for the strength work ahead.

‍

The strength block is built around foundational movement patterns - squat, hinge, push, pull. Some members have a lot of experience with these, others none at all - either is totally fine. We build the plan from wherever you’re starting and progress strength, mobility and movement from there.

‍

Following our strength block, we end with conditioning - rower, assault bike, carries, or battle ropes depending on the day. The body produces energy differently based on how long you work (bioenergetics and energy system development, for anyone who wants the physiology), so we rotate work to rest ratios, short and fast, long and slow, and everywhere in between. Conditioning gets a bad rap, but it’s become something our members enjoy, working alongside someone to get through it.

‍

IS THIS FOR YOU?

Our adult fitness program is small group personal training for adults 35+, looking to get stronger, move better, feel better and look better. We know life is busy - nobody wants to spend hours in a gym - so we build workouts that are efficient, effective, and move you towards your goals.
